DESIGN APPROACHES FOR JEWELRY & OBJECTS
Finished something, but don’t know what to do next? Interested in creating a body of work for a series or to sell? Learn how to find inspiration from your environment, memories, and events important to you. Design exercises will help you think about various ways to approach design and develop your personal style. Leave with ideas to create a series or production line of beautiful jewelry or objects!
This workshop is an introduction to methods of sparking creativity, ideas, and design for
jewelry and objects.
Through a series of exercises and 3-dimensional model making, students will build their
personal “design library.” Everyone will learn to develop their designs to create
a related series, one of a kind pieces, or production work for jewelry and objects.
Darlys will share how she uses these processes in her own work.
