Douglas Wunder is well known for his amazing titanium creations. This workshop brings you into his world which encompasses the design and engineering that goes into his work, the techniques he has perfected and how you can adapt these approaches to incorporate other metals into your designs.  Students are free to work in silver or titanium or a combination of the two. The workshop will explore exciting and alternative ways to attach, fit and fasten small objects together. The emphasis will be to create a series of metal elements that flow and function continuously and transition into a bracelet, so get ready to wear your designer hat. Imaginative riveting and hand sawing and many techniques will be explored.  You will then add purpose and personality to your finished piece by adding a clasp that is integral to the design. Coloring techniques of titanium will also be discussed.
